USATF National Masters...Boston

Are any of you folks planning to come to Boston next weekend for the National Masters Meet at the Reggie Lewis Center? Perhaps we could plan a Pole Vault Power gathering after we jump?

If anyone needs a place to stay, let me know - my club, the Greater Boston Track Club, can probably host some folks and save you the cost of a hotel. But I'd need to know ASAP so that I can start making arrangements.

My group (M 45-49) is scheduled on Sat. the 27th at 2 pm. Hope to see you there.

Best regards,
Russ

I'm just now feeling good about running again, and haven't picked up a pole yet. I'll be at Earl's that weekend picking up shiny silver cans.

Say hi to everyone for me. They usually decide where to get together during the competition. Only a few outliers actually take the competition seriously, so there will be plenty of time to talk.

Good luck!

Thanks, Russ, for the invitation. I sure would love to make it, but have business in Peoria at that time. Warn everyone in our age group that I will be a contender before long. Best of luck to all!

"The best old man pole vaulter in the world," Paul Babits, told me today that he is going. May the vault gods smile upon him so that he can finally break Earl's age group world record of 17'0.
Retain faith that you will prevail in the end, regardless of the difficulties.
