Poles bigger than u can jump on...
What is the biggest difference of your body weight and the biggest pole u have ever jumped on? If u have never jumped on a pole at least 20 pounds over your weight, this isnt for u.
I weigh about 135 and i've jumped on Spirits 4.90 from 155-165 test weight, holdin at about 15'3". But the biggest pole i've ever been on was a Pacer Carbon 15'6" 170 and trying to go to the 175.

Weight = about 168, maybe more maybe less depends on how much I ate that week, jump on a 16ft 190. Maybe a 5 meter 185-190 this weekend. I bet though If I had a 15ft 215 I could jump on it. That would be like 50 pounds difference, I think I would need a tail wind and maybe a shoulder surgery afterwards.

Darn - either you are all, tall, real fast, great technique, or lever the heck out of the pole - lots of ways to use or abuse the pole - now here is the questions - how many are vaulting a foot or better above you top hand hold? How about two feet? If you are doing that and on a pole that much over your weight - jump high is the name of the game - not how big a pole you are on - just my thoughts -
Plant like crap sometimes ok most times

I've been jumping about 11 years and have never jumped on a pole smaller then 20 puonds over my weight since 9th grade, the largest gap has been 40. I been jumping on 16' poles since 10th grade and can't go back to anything shorter. I'm 5'10'' 135 pounds on my big days. Just can't seem to gain weight.
