Can anyone get me into Drake Relays on Friday?

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Mon Apr 24, 2006 9:37 pm

It turns out I am going to be up at Drake on Thursday and Friday. I didn't plan ahead and get media credentials.

Does anyone have any extra tickets/passes/whatever that I can get in with? My camera has a good zoom, I can get good pictures from the stands, I just need to get in.

Call the Meet Director and tell them who you are and the positive publicity they will receive for their track meet because of your popular website and there should be no problem. If that does not work, find what teams and/or pole vaulters are going be there and I am sure they will be happy to assist. Good luck, have fun, be safe on your road trip. :D

A girl I coach got in, so I am just going to buy a ticket and hope the head coach there reimburses me (they only give 2 coaching passes per team).

You deserve better than having to by a ticket. I hope you got in the meet and down on the field. Be safe and have fun.

Becca,

I'm with Soar Like an Eagle. They should be honoring you at the Drake Relays for all you do for pole vaulting, not charging you admission.
May the Force be with you!

It's not that big of a deal. My ticket yesterday was $5 and my ticket today was $13. I knew I wasn't going to be around for the whole meet.
