With rainy conditions at the Arcadia Invitational there were still some great marks!
After shutting down warm ups for about 20 minutes. and re-starting warm ups the vault finally got under way.
By 12-10 only two athletes remain, Weiler (WA) and Baxter (CA). Both clean through 13-02, Weiler made 13 6 on her 2nd, while Baxter remained clean.
13-10 would be an Arcadia Meet record as well as a PR for Weiler and would tie a PR for Baxter. Weiler had some GREAT attempts but the bar fell from the pegs.
Baxter boomed it on her 3rd attempt!
Bar to 14-02 and she wasted no time by clearing it on her 1st effort! CA State Record, JR national class record, meet record, 4th all time!
