As most on this forum know, effective Dec 1, 2013, the NCAA is requiring all sanctioned competitions have a vault box collar that is compliant with ASTM standard F2949. The NFHS is following suit for the 2014-2015 year. Gill Athletics is the only company that is producing a compliant collar. This collar greatly reduces the exposed hard surfaces in the vault box area, thereby reducing the chance for serious injury. However, this collar also gives the vaulter a very different sight picture on approach and will take some getting used to. You do not want to see it for the first time during warm ups at your first meet. I am a Gill dealer and despite the fact that this is a patented item, I am offering it at a discounted price. I also discount all Gill poles using a progressive discount, meaning the more you buy the more you save. My contact information is below. Thanks so much.

Re: NCAA Rule Change for Vault Box Collars
Quick question. Do you also sell the ASTM 'Bodyguard' collar with the flaps that cover the box?
