Indoor Season

Unread postby uconnvaulta » Thu Dec 30, 2004 1:02 am

So now that the indoor season is upon us who is freakin excited out of their minds to finally get out there and show everyone what you have been trainin for all summer and fall. Though im redshirtin ill still be doin meets tryin to get those national marks, but what is everyones goals for this season,
id say for freshmen it is to get out there and just compete and get the feel of the collegiate circut and how the seasons change and how early they are, and for the older guys what are you gonna do and what you think you gonna be doin, if you wanna make some bold statements go ahead, just make sure we see you backin them up on the result sheets.

For me, I want to try and make provisionals for Divison 3 nationals, I am at 14-6 right now but hope to clear that 15-4 which is the low end of the provisional mark indoors.

My indoor activity probably will be restricted to one trip to Jonesboro where the most strenuous thing I intend to do is 12 oz can raises with each set tapering down to 0 oz . . .

I'm so, so pumped to get the indoor season going! I have to remember to keep my goals and emotions in perspective however.
I can get carried away. I got real frustrated a few weeks back, because i wasn't jumping what i though i could, but when i considered it was only the second day of the PRESEASON, i decided to take it easier on myself. It's my senior year in highschool so, a lot of things are riding on 2005 for me, wish me luck!

I have never been more ready for anything in my entire life.
