So do Skipper & Kim not get in? I think you have to finish in the top 8 to be in the pool for at-large spots.

that is correct. must finish in top 8 to be considered for the at large birth.....

the old rule stated if you had one of the highest marks in the country, you got a bid. But now, the rule states you must make the top 7 or 8 to get this bid.

yeah, top 5 are automatic and then they take 8 out of the 12 that finish 6th 7th or 8th in each region, so looks like they're out :confused:

It goes to show you that you've got to be on top of your game when it counts. PRs and past results don't mean a thing once the competition starts. Never count yourself out cause you never know how it will play out.
