Training up to this point?
What all have people been doing so far when it comes to training? We have been doing a lot of conditioning, core work, and toning stuff, but we are just starting to get into speed work, mid weights, and pole drills. We wont jump til at least middle of november. Our new coach has been working us hard! Just wondering what all else people are doing..

We have been doing short run vault stuff for over a month now. I moved back to 6 lefts last week. We are vaulting two times a week and incorporating speed work and technical stuff into those vault days. Other days are conditioning, speed work, gymnastics, weights etc.

Training this year has been great
our vault coach finally got a full time job here at uconn so now we have a great training schedule. for the first 2 months sept and oct, have been doing nothing but running lifting gymnastics rope work,
all my maxes have increased by atleast 10 pounds since last fall and my times have dropped a large amount in my running trials.
gymnastics training has been helping a lot too to keep us toned and keep our strength to weight ratio up . and all the rope climbs are paying off as well
i have lost 10 pounds since last last spring which is awesome because im stronger and more fit than i have ever been
im around 175 lbs now at 6' 1"
im ready to start vaulting though, i havent touches a pole since the summer, i get to go to get on the runway in november finally
