Big Bob Most was keeping score sheet, might have to go to our back up recorder on this one, I think Jim might be right. On Brandon Glenn's near miss, it wasn't sympathy for the broke pole, it was a dang good jump and the bar hung on those short pegs for a while. I think what made the official, Richard Wilson. a dang good one by the way, raise the white flag was the bar stayed balanced while the standard swayed. I agreed with the call, it seemed to hang there. Sorry to hear Dennis got mad about it, he's a good coach and good feller. It was a great vault session and sure glad Coach Bubba Thornton let some of the open vaulters get back in the Texas Relays, it made for a great saturday afternoon. Thanks to all the vaulters in that A group for being ready and help move the competition along, big jumps and always ready when called, I think it made the crowd happy to see a jump just about every minute and a half or so, the vaulters really made that a great event. Props to the female collegiate A group also and big props to Chelsea Johnson, what a vaulter!
compete and jump safe, have fun

I spoke with tye and he said he was running from 14, he said he is gettinf back into form and he looked pretty good.

Jim Davis is working on some new stuff and he is way ahead of the game then he was last year.

People just remember the elite guys are tyring to peak for july, the college guys are tyring to peak for the next month, well see how each group is prepared in july.

All of thanks for Coach Thorton letting Tye, Jim, Russ, Kurt, and others finally get the opportunity to jump in the texas relays again!!

Thanks for Elmore for putting up with our sh*%! also
peace

I just wish I could have been at the meet. The crowd and competition at Texas is always the best, and it looks like I missed out on prenationals..I mean the texas relays again this year. Maybe I can talk the coaching staff into taking us next year. I'll stay in a motel 8 if its about the money, I just wanna compete against the best thats all. :(

Quite honestly, I wish they would dump the High School B divisions and have men's & women's elite divisions.
