It depends on the person, schools fit people differently. And certain coaches fit certain vaulters differently. I am currently transferring from a Community College in So. Cal. and im going to Michigan State. I chose that school because its an awesome school as well as a great track program. And the coach seems to be a real good coach, and an awesome guy as well. So it depends on what YOU are looking for. hope this helps.

fellow "Treys" think alike...vanderbilt is strictly for visitation purposes. try to find a school in the SEC that has the reputation of staying in the nice hotels closest to campus. theres my 2 cents, heres my two fingers.

After two years of vaulting at a school not known for vaulters, my son has tranferred. My advice is to ensure that the schools you are interested in will support the vault. It is really difficult to excell when you don't have adequate coaching and equipment.

anywhere in the SEC is going to have the proper equipment and coaches who know the event... except for vanderbilt again.
