I graduated last year ('04) and i had to take a year off do to money problems. Im going to Mount St. Mary's here in Maryland because my teammates got my name around to their coach who is giving me money to jump. since i've been unable to jump since may, what is the best way to keep my form and some exericises/workout routines so i wount dissapoint my coach. ANYTHING will help. I've already used one of my 5 years so i know i have to work really really hard :D

I sat out the entire first semester, not really doing much here, and when I joined the team second semester I was really out of shape...still am. If you have access to any track you can do sprint workouts, and do some kind of weightlifting program to stay in shape. Also, make sure to do slide box or pole drills to keep your timing sharp. Don't expect things to take off immediately. It MIGHT take a while to get back into previous jumping shape.
