Pole Vault 'Lift-Off’ set for Friday at William Jessup

The Gold Country Indoor Pole Vault Center, located at William Jessup University Sports Complex (333 Sunset Blvd. in Rocklin), will host a “Pole Vault Lover’s Lift-Off” at 5 p.m. Friday.

The clinic will prepare students for the high school and collegiate competition format. It is designed to motivate athletes to kick-off their spring seasons with an even deeper love for the pole vault event. The bar will open at 6 feet.

If necessary, rotating flights of five will be used, or “high bar/low bar” format.

Entries, $10 per athlete, will be limited to the first 30 athletes who register. Warm-up areas will be opened at 4:30 p.m.
