San Diego room

I need a little help here guys, I was just accepted to UCSD which is great but from what they have been telling me they have no on campus housing for transfer students. If anyone knows where I can find a descent priced apartment or roommate or anything it would be real helpful. (I live in Clovis about 7 hours away)
ahh San Diego: women, sun , beaches, pole vault, what else do you need.
