We had rain saturday and sunday. Partly cloudy today. Hopefully that hurricane won't throw any rain our way, but keep your fingers crossed, there is no backup plan!

OK I have all of the entries I have received online. If you have entered and do not see yourself, send me an email. If you entered in the past 2 or 3 days and paid online but I have you listed as unpaid, check back tomorrow. Kris has been away at a camp and hasn't had a chance to forward me the receipts for paid people.

If you have not entered, today is the last day!!

Day of meet entries will only be permitted if space allows... here's a hint... if you are a guy, space is not likely to allow. So sign up NOW.

If you signed up and know you are not going to make it, or won't be jumping, please email me to scratch.

Kris, thanks for offering to find me and my friend a place, but I've found one in Austin. It turns out that a member of my family's friend lives about 45 mins away. Thanks again for your help.

main results...off the top of my head...140+ vaulters were kept on schedule due the efforts of head official Brian Elmore. At one point he ran 86 vaults in 1 hour. Now that's efficient.

Grand Prix
1 Adam Keul 5.50 and put height on 5.80
2 Randy Flach 5.50 =PR
3 Dub Jones 5.20
4 Francisco Leon 5.10 by 1 1/2 feet

1 Beth Spearmon 4.00

High School:
Casey Cummings 4.90

Yeah, big props to Brian for running the meet so fast. I just wish I could have gotten more time on the runway when there was just the 4 guys that were in the amateur division.

I certainly didn't mean to rush you, but Kris and his gang had their backs against the wall time wise. That was an extreme effort on their part to set up and tear down a lot of equipment. I hope I didn't ruin your experience there, I thought it was a great environment for the vault.

One runway was wide, the other was a bit narrower. Scott almost fell on top of me when he missed the runway. It was actually pretty funny, everyone gave him a hard time over it. LB
