nitro, USATF only sanctions records once a year. So a legitimate, documented record jump can be displayed in that manner (green background for pending) for almost a year. Once approved, I think at a meeting in Dec or Jan, the conditional listing is removed and the record entry looks as all the others.

If Hartwig's 6.02 hasn't been certified yet , it's not going to happen. I think that may have been a mall vault so that may have been what kept it from being official. I'm surprised they still consider it pending.

Dang'it achtungPV. I did it again. I responded without looking at the details. Obviously what I wrote wouldn't have any bearing on the Hartwig entry since its date is from 2002. :o again.

Was it 6.02 or 6.03 that Jeff did at nationals in Eugene?

Actually, it just never got submitted for ratification until a year or two ago. Jeff didn't know he had to submit it. In fact I don't think it even showed up on the USATF website until the past year or two. I don't know if it got approved or not, Jeff Watry might now. The USATF website is not always up to date on that stuff.

Although this is not confirmation it has been done, the web page does state it was last updated on 1/2/2009.
