I wonder what the conditions are like? These aren't very good marks for most of the athletes.

top 2 (if they have met the world marks), or they will continue down the list to who has made the world qualifying mark.
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Talent in cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.

Clemson pole vaulter qualifies for Pan Am Games

Clemson freshman Mitch Greeley finished second in the pole vault at the USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday in Carson, Calif.

Greeley’s vault of 16 feet, 8¾ inches in the final flight was good enough to earn him a spot on Team USA's roster for the Pan American Junior Championships, held July 28-31 in Windsor, Ontario.

Despite injury, Morrison has an impressive meet

Mike Morrison, a rising senior at Great Bridge, had goals of clearing 17-0 in the pole vault and scoring more than 7,000 points in the decathlon at the USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships in California.

Even though he fell short, Morrison was impressive. He won the pole vault and placed third in the decathlon.

“It went well even though I didn’t get what I wanted,â€Â
