Thursday Night Fun Meets

Unread postby smokinvaulter1 » Sat Jul 16, 2005 1:01 pm

We hold meets to raise money for track equipment here on thurs. night. Last thurs. i ent out to play and amazed myself a couple times.
First I jumped in the 100m then turned a round a rolled a 21.03 hand time 200m then I chickened out of 400m. I was happy to clear 6'4" in the high jump, but my greatest moment was all 5 of my good jumps in the long jump.

1st jump 23'2
2nd 23'10" wow
3rd jump actually hit the board 24'1"
4th jump Foul
5th Jump 24'0"
6th Jump Huge Pr 24'5" Previous LJ pr 23'11"

I don't even train much right now.
I guess I should be a Decathlete,

21.03 hand timed = 21.1 :P

I long jumped and triple jumped at one of our home meets earlier this year and got lifetime PRs in both :)

It's fun to do other events. I like doing something different, where I have no expectations of doing well.
