Eurosport to Visit Toby Stevenson

EUROSPORT TO VISIT OLYMPIC SILVER MEDALIST TOBY STEVENSON

Eurosport International WATTS production crew will travel to California. They recently contacted Stevenson's agent, Karen Locke regarding him being a program guest. Locke invited them to visit California with the support of Gregg Miller, meeting director for the Coca Cola Modesto Relays, who agreed to provide the Eurosport crew with a competition backdrop.

Recording and filming will take place in San Francisco and during the Coca Cola Modesto Relays week. Toby plays guitar." I was told that Tim Lobinger sings and thought it may be nice if Tim could team up with Toby and provide vocals, said Locke." Tim will be here visiting as he's also scheduled to compete in the pole vault competition. They are friends and will now rock out together.

EUROSPORT WATTS is a weekly fun show made of sport and music. "In our new show WATTS Prime we added a new section where we have famous athletes expressing themselves in a non-sporting manner; by singing or playing music, said Sophie Berge, program director. We broadcast in the format of a clip where we mix between pictures of them singing and competing in their sports. A 'making of' of their performance will be filmed and broadcast in the same program."

"It's a nice and different moment to share with an athlete, adds, Berge. An opportunity for some athletes to reveal a talent that the viewer is not familiar with or just to have fun. Eurosport is sure Toby is really the right person for our program as he often plays guitars with his pole after jumping. The mix of their sporting and artistic talent is very impressive and something I think no one has ever seen before. Eurosport is very honored to have Toby take part in this project."
