We will see
RUSS
Has made technique changes and improvements that has allowed him better timing on ESSX. Before last year his technique was flat, grip too high, and the brand poles he had made up for the difference to get him over 19'.
He has switched because he was found he can time much better on ESSX. He has cleared 19+ in practice even a few 595 jumps over a bungee so like 585 clearances. But the weather has not been favorable for setting PR's I expect big jumps soon. he has changed his jump so much and has been working on his run with and approach with some of Americas Top Vault coaches, Ty Sevin @ Mcneese, Tye harvey on his swing, and Duplantis on pole carry and approach.
His jumps and timing are so well tuned his jumps are totally different than last years.
Lets see how he does
