I think the problem is that Tim only has digital video of his 6.01 jump right now. He has the other jumps on tape, and talking to him at Reno, it was a different format so they weren't playing right for him.
Or something like that.

Tim said he tried three or four different VCR's and there was no video, just audio of him jumping. He said it was just a black screen with the audio playing.

Sounds like it is in PAL format and not NTSC. The rest of the world uses PAL TVs & VCRs while only the US & Japan use NTSC. You can take it to any good media company and have it converted for 10-20 dollars depending if you want it on tape or DVD. I had a tape of the Sydney Olympics transferred several years ago.
Just google PAL NTSC transfer.
