That's just what I heard from his mom who got a text message from him. I am sure he'll be back in a day or two and can tell us the whole story :)

I talked to Brian today and it was definitely 5.52. He set a meet record. He has some good stories from the meet. He has been writing it all down, so he will be able to rehash it all when he gets back. Plus, he has lots of pics and video.

I stand corrected... small imperial to metric rounding in a text message error... Haha.

Anyway, sounded like an awesome meet. Lots of USA elite started out going to this meet.

Hey there

yes 5.52 it was. Had one really good look at 5.62. I have lots of video of both myself, and a few russions (5.76pr Dimitry Kupstov, 5.70pr Artiom Kupstov, and 5.65pr Kimitry Starobubstev), and an english kid (5.60pr Steven Lewis). There was also a french vaulter, Charles Andureu who has jumped 5.70. Both steven and charles were at a meet less than 72 hours prior and weren't feeling so hot. def. have some interesting stories as well. however at the moment im completely drained as i have only slept a combined 23 hours in the last 6 days, so i will finish it up and try to post in in the next day or 2!!
