I'll have to post the full specs later, but the short of it is:
- G4 iBook. 1 gig RAM. I'll have to get back to you on the OS... 10.4.something I think. I think the hard drive is 60 gigs, I'll have to double check.
- The firewire and USB work. It has an airport card that works (so you can connect to wireless networks). The ethernet port does NOT work.
- I'll have to try and find my installation discs so I can wipe it clean and reinstall the software, but it should be loaded with iMovie, iPhoto, iCal, and more. iMovie is great, you can plug in your video camera and edit video. You'll probably want an external hard drive for that though. I _might_ even be able to include the firewire cable that goes from the video camera to the laptop (it only works with FireWire, not USB) because my new laptop seems to have a different kind of firewire port so I think I need a different cable.
- It has the WORLD'S COOLEST LAPTOP SKIN

- You'll need to buy a new power cable for it. The kind needed for these laptops have a terrible track record for fraying. This latest one actually held up a long time, but it is now fraying and needs to be replaced as it could catch on fire (this happened to me once!) or, more likely, just stop working.
- I just replaced the battery a few months ago, so that should last you a long time. I think right now if you are just surfing the web it lasts 3-4 hours or so.
- It's been dropped a few times, and I've use it at multiple beach vaults, so there is a small crack in the casing and there might be a little sand in it somewhere and it's a bit on the dirty side.
So yeah, not the world's greatest computer, but it has served me well over the years, and it should have a few more years of life in it.
I'll post the full specs when I get a chance. If you're interested, shoot me an email and tell me why you need a new (to you) laptop.
