OK seriously, who made up that height progression??? What a terrible height progression. Let's make our top athletes sit on their butts forever while the lower ones duke it out every 5cm. :deadrose: :crying:

USATF rules do not allow for any run throughs after the competition starts. The past 2 years, Jenn got one anyway. What are your guesses as to whether or not she gets one this year?

(and for the record, I support the idea of athletes getting a run through after the competition starts, HOWEVER, the IAAF does not allow it and they won't get one at Worlds, so I think the rules should be followed at USAs which is supposed to prepare them for Worlds)

OK looks like we are about to get underway... Opening height of 4.20, we have passes from Holliday, Suhr, Bennett, Saxer, Janson, and Hutson.

Everyone missed their first attempt, all 12 of them.

Neuenswander the first to clear, she does so on her second attempt.
