Favorite Elite Vaulters

Unread postby K_Rabbit » Thu Dec 02, 2004 1:06 am

I know everyone out there has a favorite elite vaulter that they always cheer for. I just wanted to see who are the most popular vaulters and why they are your favorites.

Male: Nick Hysong, He is getting older and hasn't posted any huge marks but i still like him

Female: Chelsea Johnson, i met her at skyjumpers camp and she was pretty cool.

For men my favorite has to be Toby Stevenson. He just seems like an awesome guy and I love his celebrations. He is so fired up to vault, and that is how i want to be.

For women it would probably be Isinbayeva because she has textbook form. She stays tight to her pole.

For the men, I will have to go way back with Dutch Warmerdam, cuz he was the first man over 15' on a straight pole.

And for the women, I will have to say that my favorite is Tracy O'Hara, because she is so friggin cute :o !

Hans Laqerqvist. Always had a smile and a kind word for us nobodies, and back then the elite guys were not nearly as nice as they are now.

My favorite modern male vaulter is a tie between Tim Mack- cuz he is so mellow and cool about jumping, and Kurt Hanna, because he is soo goofy and kool!!
