High School State Records
Is it just me, or are there no websites that have high school state records on them? Does anybody know what Maryland's is? I heard it was around 15'3''...(You know these great MD pole vaulters...)

im from MD and just graduated high school this year. the highest jump by a guy that was posted i believe was 14'0 and girls was 10'7" but they only post what results are sent to them so its hard to say if those are reliable (they're not really) cause i did 11'6 this year and its not recorded in their list because it was at a dual meet. but the website if you want to check it out is www.runningmaryland.com and i think if you want you can look at each high schools record again if that school has sent their stats.
wherever you go, go with all your heart..

oklahoma pole vault record
the oklahoma state record is 17.9 joe dial way back when he did jump over 18.00 in high school at an out of state meet also
Re: High School State Records
I go to Brunswick and Baum is from Brunswick, but this year I know Scott Rice got at least 14' at one meet, and hes from Boonsburro for 1a and for 4a check the results but I think someone got 15', and are you sure Ferrel only did 13 9, because that is an attainable goal for me to get.
Don't be a wussy
Re: High School State Records
For the boys, Kahil Uqdah (Gilman) is the highest mark I could find.
For the girls, Lauren Graff (Urbana) jumped 12-07.25 at the 2002 Penn Relays. This is the highest mark I've been able to find for a girl.
The Public School Records above are the records and top performances for the STATE MEET only. I does not take into account all meet results

Re: High School State Records
Hey vaulters,
This is Khalil and I just was told about this blog. When I was a high school vaulter I could not find the Maryland State Record anywhere. No websites, no coaches, and no refs knew the height and vaulter. I heard somewhere that it was 15'9" which is why, when I had a good day, I bumped the bar up to 15'10". It was a week after a shitty no height at penn relays. After clearing 15'10", my excitement was deflated by a ref saying, "I remember someone jumping 16'1".....again no name to the height. Who knows what the record is, but it's pretty cool to wake up looking at people saying I got it.
