GENERAL INFORMATION

ENTRY DEADLINE: All entries and fees must be received by Monday, February 5, 2007. All entries must be made online - no exceptions ONLINE ENTRY ----> Click on the following link: http://www.coacho.com/meet/entry/tn_ktc

ELIGIBILITY: This a USATF Open Meet for High School Athletes. If you are not in High School you may not enter this meet. Athletes may register as Unattached or as a member of a Track Club Team - Only. It is your responsibility to confirm that your state association will allow you to compete if you are a High School Athlete.

ENTRY FEE: $12.00 per athlete. This is a USATF Open Meet Limited High School Athletes Only. Athletes must register as Unattached or as a member of a Club Team. Make checks payable to Knoxville Track Club. Certified / Cashiers Check or Money order only. There are no entry refunds or entry fee changes for scratched athletes or no-shows past the entry deadline of February 5, 2007. All entry fees must be received by at our PO Box by – Wednesday, February 7th. If your entry fee is not received by this time your entries will be considered scratched. If you cannot send in your payment by this time you must pay your fees by credit card online (extra charges apply)

ENTRY DECLARATION: A copy of your on-line entries will be e-mailed to you. All entries are accepted pending the receipt of entry fees. No other changes to your entries will be accepted after the online entry deadline of 2/5/07 – midnight EST.

ENTRY LIMITS: Two (2) relay entries per team. Three (3) events per athlete (including field events and relays).

TRACK ACCESS: For security and safety Stokley Athletics Center will not be open for practice or warm-ups on Friday February 9th. Warm-ups will be announced prior to each event. No running event warm-ups on track. Warm ups may be done on the upper level concourse or outside on Tom Black Track across from Stokley Athletic Center .



IMPLEMENTS: Only shots provided by the meet management will be allowed in competition.



PACKET PICK-UP: 7:15 AM-12PM - Upper Level Entrance, Stokley Athletics Center



SEEDING: All events will be seeded. Please submit seed marks from Outdoor 2006 or available 2007 Indoor performances. Field events will be seeded from worst to best; four (4) attempts per athlete; no finals. Running events will be seeded from worst to best. The top 6 times in the 55m dashes and hurdles will advance to finals. All other events will be run section vs. time. Please make sure to check in for your events when called to the clerking area. Failure to due so will result in you being scratched from your event.



TIMING: All races timed by Fully Automatic Timing.



T-SHIRTS/AWARDS: Commemorative shirts will be on sale at the meet for $13.00. Individual Awards: plaques will be awarded to individual event champions, medallions will be awarded to places 2-6. Relay Awards: plaques will be awarded to relay Team champions and medallions to relay runners for places 1-6. There will be no team scoring or team awards.

Jim Bemiller is a good friend of mine. He has been coaching Tim Mack for the past millenium. Jim doesn't coach the UT men any more. Russ Johnson does.
