TRACK RECORDS: Melissa Beerse of Little Miami recently established a Greater Cincinnati record in the girls' pole vault when she cleared 12 feet 1 inch. The previous best was 11-6 by Middletown Madison's Jenna Nance in 2004.

Melissa cleared 12-2 last night in the cold and rain at the district meet in Mason OH.
