Amy McClintock dominated the field in the pole vault with her best of 9-6, which was two feet clear of Emily Frank of New Richmond.

"We're expecting big things from Erin and Amy," OHS head coach Eric Wojta said. "They're kind of similar to the entire group this year and that they're good kids attitude-wise."

Breidinger, who spent a good portion of the last year pole vault prepping, easily ran away with the pole vault crown Thursday, clearing 12-feet-6 to win the title over teammate Mike Gibson by six inches.

"I would like to win the state title,“ Breidinger said. "But a top-three finish would be good. The last two years the guy who won it cleared 14-6 and that's what I'm working towards.“
