So Im a Sr who normally does sprints, but I added PV to my events because we are losing too many points in the event. Im pretty much self taught through DVDs and other information from people on here

Problem:
My first day I was clearing 8'-0" over and over again with a natural turn.
The second day it was 9'-0", and that's where it had kind of been at a stand still. Im getting that rockback fear when I try to bend the pole. I can't give exact grip heighths and pole length at the moment but will as soon as I can.
Im a quick learner. However, I have less than 1 month until Sectionals to vault about 11'-6" - 12'-0". Seems like an impossible goal now, but it's something Im really pushing towards. I already have an obsession with pole vaulting. I just discovered the MID MARK CHART so I will probably try to go by that for awhile.
Anyway, how do you get rid of the rockback fear? And are there any other tips anyone can give me?
