Rancho Verde High School is looking for a dedicated Pole Vault Coach to join our staff.  Coaching stipend is $2500 plus 10% of the stipend for each week of CIF post-season.

Chris Drescher

Head Track Coach

Rancho Verde High School

dude... holy crap thats good pay for a HS position. If I lived anywhere near there, I'd jump on that in a heartbeat. A season where you get a kid to the state meet is $3500!
If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll get you the email address (I wont post it here so the guy doesnt get a ton of spam)

Ya, that's great money but, really, who coaches HS pole vault for the money. I'm interviewing for a new job right now because I just moved to IL from So Cal and I haven't even talked about the money. I love the kids and the sport too much to let money get in the way.

I would have coached for free last season. As it was, I made 30 cents an hour by the state meet but making it there was the real reward. It taught me that I want to be a head coach someday.

I totally agree. But if someone wants to give me 90cents/hr compared to the 30cents/hr, I aint gonna complain! :)
