Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. i will be in the US helping out at Mark Hannays Slippery Rock camps June 26th -july 7 and then in Nampa for a clinic July 11 -14. i will be passing through LA around July 15 on the way back to OZ and was wondering if there would be any interest from coaches in the S. Cal area in a one day seminar on the vault at that time. Obviously we would need a facility and i would need to picked up from the airport and wined and dined -especially wined -and provided with a bed for one night.
if there is any interest at all we can have a look at it.
Thought for the week "Wisdom can come from any place, any time and in any language."

altius, Is this a coach's clinic or a vaulter's camp? Can you provide any details about the activity in Nampa? Thanks.

Master. It is a combination -because i believe one of the best ways to help coaches get a better handle on modern technique, The Instructional Process and the coaching process is to run a clinic for athletes, which involves other coaches and gives them progressively more demanding tasks as the clinic evolves.
It is easy to combine the two elements because i believe in making sure that the athletes -of every age -understand the technical model we are teaching so that they can see the way all of the practices and drills relate to it. They will learn faster this way -and are on the way to becoming coaches themselves in the future! We are happy to include parents in this -they too have the potential to help their children -and to become coaches.
Anone interested in coming to nampa should contact Jeremy Bailey on

Lady Voiles coach - I know you Yanks are pretty ignorant of world geography but I would have thought you knew something about your own country! Nampa is a vast metropolis - Boise is one of its suburbs. Now dont tell me you dont know where Boise is!
I am posting rather than sending a private message because there may be a lot of other geographical ignoramuses out there.

Nampa is where the USA Masters National Indoor Championships were held last month. Although, all the advertising would say Boise.
