blisters
blisters
anyone know what forms them? is it friction, pressure, or both?from lookin at them it seems like a pocket of pus between two layers of skin, maybe a result of friction and pressure separating two layers.
what do you do to prevent them? (on rope drills, high bar, etc.) gloves? plenty of chalk? calluses? how do you treat them? tape? liquid skin? super-glue? do you pop them? i dont want to start this season off with the monster blisters i got today (including one blood blister) so im lookin for ways to keep them away. got advice?

athletic tape fixes everything!
just pop them, slap a band-aid over it, then some athletic tape.
blisters are just part of the territory so get used to them. work through it and eventually they'll turn into callouses. once they are callouses, you'l never have to worry about them again.

"the Glove"
Someone a few years ago showed me a good way to prevent blisters and calousus(sp?) that form and the base of your fingures from bothering you while vaulting. You wrap tape once around then take three small strips and put them between your fingures. repeat the frist twice more and then second one once more and it seems to help a little bit hope i have helped
