I have been training hard for the past couple months now gained back all my muscle and everything and speed. bad thing is i gained back about 5 pounds of muscle which i dont think i need so im gonna turn down the lifting a lot and jut work on rings and rope. i still have yet to take a full run and even touch a 16 foot pole to jump on, but so far im doing good on like a 5 -6 step aproach on the 15s even though they are like noodles. cant wait for the season to kick in let me know how everyones coming along and if they are as excited as i am, BIG EAST be ready

Then try them from a 4 step approach!

One of my major prerequisites for moving on to a longer run is to jump >15' gripping <14' from a 4 step run. Until you can do it, backing up is just like throwing gas on a fire.

well what happened is we were in the gymnastics room one day. and we set up a minitramp and then a section of a pit (that was similar to our vault pads ) about 3 feet behind it. We then proceeded to find any and all objects we could use to make a large wall in front of the pad. The goal was to pretty much do a dive over the wall and then roll out on the other side. Well, we measured the wall up to about 9 and a half feet. Before the gymnasts realized just what we were doing. Not the sharpest people ever. And they came over and asked us to stop, but we were in the middle of a contest. So we just kind of kept going. And words were exchanged, and next thing we knew, we were banned. Just cuz they are a bunch of little babies. Were gonna try and go back in thursday and hope theyve forgotten. That place is way to much fun to leave alone. Although our coach bought us a mini tramp to play with at practice (his daughter is a level 9 gymnast, so she comes out too). So we still have some fun.
