Re: Training situation
Wait, you are training for pole vault, right? Why long runs and 200's to 400's?
Check out the 'fitness of pole vaulters' thread, the 'summer weightlifting program' thread, and the 'how should I lift' thread. PM me and I could help you out with more a personalized training schedule.

Re: Training situation
I have a training program on myspace. Got to myspace.com/baggettpv then to blogs. Check it out and see if it makes things clear for ya.

Re: Training situation
Rick, the plan you have posted look awesome. I am definitely going to try and follow it as best as I am able to.
Re: Training situation
Thanks guys. It has been many years in the making but I still want to remind everyone. It is just an outline of a tried and true training program. If you have gymnastics bars then work on skills getting yourself above the support of the hands too in fluid motions putting more power into the moves as you get stronger.

Re: Training situation
I went to the myspace site to check out the programs, but as a non-avid myspace user, I have no idea where on the link they would be located... any help?
Re: Training situation
It's in the "View all blog entries".... Down away's since the philosophies of the old warriors in Carlos Casteneda's work is important too. Just scroll down. It's there.
