because of the last several posts and threads on working out, I decided to tell anyone whop's as crazy as my brother to try out this wack idea. it seems to work okay and im startin to try it out myself:
what he did was get two saw horses (wooden stands used to support dowels, 2 by 4's, etc. when being sawed) and put them in his room about 4 or 5 feet apart, parallel. then he got two sturdy metal bars from our old trampoline, and layed them on the saw horses, parallel to each other and perpindicular to the saw horses. he then proceeded to stand between them, pull up his legs, and do dips. the cool thing is its so easily adjustable, and as flimsy as iut sounds its very sturdy. the instability of the bars adds to added forearm strength, and the bars width can easily be adjusted for different degrees of difficulty. i decided to use on bar, sit underneath it, and hold on the bar over my head. it makes it easy to do bubka's and probably wipers (havent tried em yet), and if you prop your feet on a box or nearby bed, you can perform upside down rows. whats also funny is they are the same size as olympic weights (the bars), so if iwanted i could get some with some collars and have like an entire home gym. anyways its actually pretty useful and very easy to set-up, and great for workin out with goin outside for doin pullups on a basketball hoop (like i used to do) or going to a gym.
Anyone else have any great 'garage gym' workouts, machines, or other contraptions?

Great workouts
Never thought of that one... Got a bar in my dads workroom, also do pull ups on a beam and got the rope hanging from another beam. The summer i use our swing set to do leg swings and good stuff like that.
