weight training
I am goign on my third year of lifting really seriously. The bad news (which will hopefully turn into good news) is that I have to cut back some to help out my vault. I could use a little help on the motivation side of things, maybe a little convincing that my vault will most likely be better off. Any help or suggestions???

You really don't need to lift more than three, four days a week max. For the type of strength you want, that is all you need. Any more than that you lose out on recovery quite a bit, and set yourself up for injury. Your lifting should be highly specific with the goal of building your general strength, and then becoming more powerful (how much weight can you move and how fast.) In other words, in order for you to be able to handle a 454 engine, you better have a damn strong frame. As you upgrade engines, remember that you always have to upgrade on the frame too or you once again set yourself up for injury.
