Kirsten Belin (Sverige) Retires

Kirsten Belin, 25, retired from the sport on Monday due to her continuous problems with her back.

She:s our Swedish record-holder in the vault with a lifetime best of 4,51m.

She states to her local newspaper, Wermlands-Tidningen, that she plans no competitions on a hobby level, and will focus her attention to her studies in Karlstad.

If, in the future she misses the sport - and has no more pain, she will not rule out a comeback.
