Low PR for the offspring aside, you have to admit that a mother-son duo on the SAME university team ... at the SAME TIME ... is a great story ... maybe even belonging in the Guiness Book of Records!

Name me one ... yeh, just ONE ... mother-son, mother-daughter, father-son, or father-daughter duo in the USA ... or ANYWHERE in the world ... that has EVER competed for the same university ... AT THE SAME TIME!

Hey,
So this is the josh from the article, and i do understand that you can pull anyone off the street and jump 12 feet, but my pb has improved to 3.80, and the thing is i have never run track in high school i was a wrestler and a hockey player, so i have only been jumping for about a year when the story was published.
Thanks
Josh

Josh, you don't have to defend the article ... or your PB. You're doing your best, and that's all that can ever be expected of ANYONE ... American or Canadian.
And 12-6 (3.80) ain't too shabby for a vaulter that never touched a pole in HS!
Be proud of the PV achievements yourself and your Mom ... GO CANADA GO!!!
