The announcers said Strutz lost a significant amount of weight this year and that's part of why she is jumping better. That looks about right to me, I saw her jump in Europe a few years ago, and she had a belly on her. She looks strong now, not too skinny.

They showed Silva clear on her second, a nice clean jump. First time I've seen her jump.

Then I lost my feed, so if they showed anymore I missed them.

Kiriakopoulou over on her third attempt. Gadschiew and Buchler go out.

Spiegelburg clears on her second and they show it, but my feed cut out. They also showed Feofanovaad I also missed it

Feofanova was over by about 15cm. The kraut was over by a lot also.

Hutson goes out, she won't make finals. Jenn Suhr will be the only American in the finals.

Boyd also goes out.

Silva looks raw and appears to have a lot of upside just like her countryman Borges.

From what I remember about their decathletes, they vault pretty well, too. I wonder what's going on in the Cuban vault world?

Actually, Dennison is still alive, and it looks like she needs to clear the next height to make finals. But I'll do the places as though she went out just to make things easier.

The last vaults shown...Hudson with an ugly miss at 4.55 and Pyrek and Boyd bailing out at 4.55 on their 3rd.

I assume they showed Isi and Suhr at some point? How did they look?

Isi's was easy...maybe 30+ cm over 4.55. Suhr had maybe 10cm over 4.55.
