WC Decathlon - Hardee defends title, Eaton holds off Suarez

Less than 3 hours until the decathlon gets underway in Daegu! PV Power member Trey Hardee is the defending World Champion, but he is expected to face stiff competition from rising star Ashton Eaton. Unfortunately, Bryan Clay had to pull out with an injury. Ryan Harlan will also be representing Team USA.

It looked like a brutal competition. Muggy weather and poor scheduling (some events in morning with a long midday break until evening events, leaving too little time between day 1 and day 2.
