Why are they saying that Armando is from Sweden?
That's quite a serious misprint, isn't it?
Or is it true? I know his mom (Helena) was from Sweden, so does Armando have dual citizenship, and has he elected to compete for Sweden?

Yes, he has dual citizenship and has chosen to compete for Sweden, just like his older brother did.

I guess competing for Sweden is "easier" when it comes to qualification for international competition. The USATF trial system might not be the best for preparing for big meets. In Sweden (and other countries) you take the qualification mark early in the season and then prepare.
Whatever country Mondo compete for, he is a great athlete and a great guy! Looking forward to see him jump even higher.
