The weather was nothing like last year. This year a storm came through during warmups, so they had to start the event a little late. It wasn't raining while they were vaulting, but it was pretty chilly and everything was wet.

Brad Walker came up and was helping Kate, Carly, and Becky. I don't think Becky got off the ground all day. Kate and Carly looked pretty flat, which I'd say is pretty normal for 3 days after having great performances at NCAAs.
The Chinese girls looked pretty awesome. They have a lot of potential. Mr. Cliffford heard that Yingying Zhao is only 14! She smoked over 4.00, and passed to 4.20 which she took good shots at. 14 or not, she's a stud.
Shuing Gao has some serious tools. She's tall and lean and is already gripping really high. She took off pretty out on a few jumps and still turned up the jump and made it into the pit no problem.
