Pole vault champion Svetlana Feofanova won’t go to Helsinki; she has recently completed the 1.5-month treatment because of the intervertebral hernia. National team’s coach Valery Kulichenko said Feofanova will start training in the fall to take part in the winter championship, which will be held in Moscow March 2006.
