18:49 : Today's competition will start in around 45 minutes time and at present the weather is ideal.
18:50 : The morning's storms have cleared and we have blue skies 24 degrees Centigrade and a light breeze
18:54 : This evening's events start at 18.30 - 16.30 GMT - with the men's Pole Vault and the women's long jump and the men's discus throw
18:55 : The programme ends at 21.15 with the women's 100 metres
19:09 : The presentation of the athletes will take place shortly, when they do a tour of the stadium in some of the cars from the collection of the late Prince Rainier

I am talking to people watching the video feed. They say that Pavlov looked good, had huge height, but knocked it off.

Mack looked flat, didn't turn up his last jump.

Lobinger and Stevenson had good height over 5.70.
