Now that the men are pretty much done for the year, post your guess for how the T&F News Top 10 rankings will shake out...
Here's mine:
1. Brad Walker - WC silver, very consistent all season
2. Tim Lobinger - tanked at WC, but virtual lock for top 3 at all major meets
3. Rens Blom - WC gold, good jumping in early meets
4. Giuseppe Gibilisco - very consistent, good jumping at end of season
5. Nick Hysong - middle of the pack in all big meets
6. Toby Stevenson - inconsistent this year, this may be a bit generous
7. KonstadÃÂnos FilippÃÂdis - very good vaulting for an 18 year old
8. Igor Pavlov - 5.90 indoors, WC 4th, inconsistent out (injured?)
9. Daichi Sawano - another middle of the pack vaulter in big meets
10. Derek Miles - a bit inconsistent but some good results

i like your list, but cant we include the 2005 world leader burgess? even though his big jumps at small meets in perth i think he had a couple of decent results elsewhere. of course if head to head is paramount(and i think tfn weights it pretty high) it is hard to make a case, but he had some huge results

Burgess only jumped in 1 or 2 meets that could remotely be termed competitive and I believe he finished 3rd behind Markov & Hooker at that one. You shouldn't get ranking points for big marks where there's no competition. That's a glorified practice.
Miles was low due to not making the WC team.
