These awards will be stretched across the next few months. October's voting covers the male and female jumpers of the year (along with the sprinters), so be sure to use your votes wisely!

jumpers a team event????
jumpers a team event????
THe website above has voting for jumpers for the year?
Ok but how can one compare LJ & TJ to HJ or PV?
I think there should be a vote for each individual event?
all though it is a NIce site

People would soon get bored if they had to vote an athlete for each and every event. Plus, if we had to list ten athletes per event then we'd really have to scrape the barrell to find 10 worthy - especially when there's clear leaders in each event (Dwight Phillips, Olsson, Holm, etc). So this way, it's making it more interesting by pitting each event against each other - 10 top quality athletes in each category to really get you thinking.
Keep checking back over the coming weeks, as the polls will be changing soon! Thanks for voting!
