So this season was much worse than my expectations due to a variety of reasons, but I still managed to end it on a good note. The video is my jump over 12ft, which matched my outdoor PR.

The stats are:
12'9" Grip
13'7" 175 UCS Spirit
6 Lefts from 73'
Standards 24"
I'm still not a fan of the jump, but it's a lot better than the other meest this winter. My run is the only thing that I think I improved on this winter and now it's pretty consistent. I'm going to try and narrow my grip a little bit, I HATE trying to narrow it, but it's something that I know I need to do. My takeoff is ok for me, I think that it could be more agressive and a narrower grip would help with that. I think the biggest issue in my jump is the swing. I'm breaking at the knee a lot and then tucking in later to try and get inverted. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if I work on swinging long all the way through, my hips would rise more and put me in a better position to extend up the pole. I think...
Anyways, I'm open to all opinions, so what do you think? After the snow melts off the ground (which could be a while), I'm going to get into some preseason jumping. What is the most important thing to focus on this spring to get the best improvement? I'm hoping to at least improve 6" and qualify for districts this year and it'd be nice to break 13' this spring.
