First 3 jumps are from 6 lefts on a 15 165 (19.8 flex) holding around 13'10
Last jump at 15 is using a 15 170 (18.8) that i borrowed using it for first time holding around 14'0" running 7 lefts for first time this season.
I didnt know what to expect using this pole and ended up hitting it on the way up. Iv been working on running tall, not pumping the pole, and not pulling down. Judging by the last clip should i try out a 15 175? any advice appreciated

Re: Florida Relays
It seems like you have improved your pole carry since the last video, nice work!
With a lot more walking plant drills, done with 7 lefts (or whatever length run you are using at the time) you can improve even more. I think that now that you are back to 7 lefts you need to accelerate a little more gradually so that you can increase your stride frequency (cadence) all the way from start to finish. You also may be lowering the pole a bit early, making it harder to maintain your posture. I find this is very common when getting used to the timing of a longer run, so it takes a conscious effort. Good to fix it now, because the problems will get worse when you start using heavier poles.
As far as the next pole goes, you should always be trying out newer, bigger sticks to see what you can get on, provided you are consistently landing deep (as you did). You can also try moving your grip up by one finger at a time and see if it slows down your pole speed a little bit, but keep an eye on the bend to make sure you don't overbend the pole. Watching your video, it looks like you could try a stiffer pole, but it's hard to base that recommendation on one jump in a meet when you were fired up. Only try a bigger pole when/if you are ALWAYS landing deep enough to be safe. Good luck!
