A friend has just sent me this. I know you get bombarded by these requests but this is probably the first one you will have had from OZ. If you have time -and it takes very little - can you meet the simple request please.
Hi Guys
My 5 year old Cousin Claire from Mt Gambier has recently being diagnosed with leukaemia (ADL). This is the particularly nasty version and only 50 Australians a year are diagnosed with this type of leukaemia. Claire and her family have been in Adelaide for 8 weeks now, based at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
One of Claire and her families’ great loves is the Tour Down Under and they come to Adelaide each year to see all the stages. If you could take 30 seconds out of your day to visit the link below and Cheer for Kobe it would be much appreciated.
Thanks CHRIS
Feel free to pass this onto any friends you may have who would also like to cheer. J
Dear Friend,
I just “cheered” for Kobe who is riding for Claire Brooker in I RIDE FOR LIVESTRONG, a virtual version of the Tour of California. The Tour is the biggest cycling event in the United States, and Lance Armstrong and Team RadioShack will be riding in it this week. They’re raising awareness about the fight against cancer by dedicating their ride to some amazing cancer heroes and giving other people the chance to do the same.
I’m trying to help Kobe get as many cheers as possible today so they can win the virtual race. If Kobe gets enough cheers by May 23, Lance Armstrong will dedicate a ride to Claire Brooker in the Tour de France! Can you check out Claire Brooker’s story and add your cheer to help out? It only took me a few seconds:

Every single story and rider strengthens our cause and helps to make our voices heard. And now, more than ever, we need to talk about the global cancer crisis – if something doesn’t change, one in two people will be fighting cancer by 2030.
We have to fight back, push our leaders to act and dedicate resources to realize a world without cancer.
Will you cheer with me and join the movement?

Thanks!
