Well of course someone with a hormone disorder, under the guidance of a doctor, could probably use HGH safely. I dont see how anyone else could take it safely. I heard it over-developes a lot of things in your body, giving you tons of problems.

A pretty knowlegable friend of mine explained it to me a little more detailed, but the bottom line is this:
Steroids make your muscles grow bigger. They also cause your organs to grow bigger. This is why power lifters and bodybuilders have huge, muscular stomachs that stick out like beer guts, but still flex a 6-pack in that position.
At the same time, your heart grows at the same rate. So the heart muscle tissue grows, but an equal amount of blood, if not less due to the expanding muscular tissue is pumped, so essentially your heart "explodes" one day if you keep it up.
